Description

Contemporary democracies face a wide range of ethical challenges, such as those raised by immigration, climate change, or growing inequality. The aim of this project is to engage in critical reflection on these challenges, and to explore the complex crossroads by which they are interrelated.

The main result of the project will be a volume of research papers to be published by CFUL in 2020. The volume will be edited by the coordinating researchers, and will include contributions from PhD students enrolled in the University of Lisbon Doctoral Program in Ethics, Democracy, and Societal Challenges.
