Célia Teixeira holds a Licenciatura (BA) and a Master’s degree from the University of Lisbon, and was awarded her PhD from King’s College London in 2009. Her main research interests are in epistemology, with special interests in the a priori, the notion of analyticity, and theories of epistemic justification. She has also interests in some topics in metaphysics, philosophy of language, and the philosophy of religion. She has published several articles in Portuguese journals, as well as book reviews, and encyclopaedia entries. She has also translated several philosophy books into Portuguese, and co-written high school level textbooks.
She is currently a postdoctoral research fellow (sponsored by FCT) at the Philosophy Centre of the University of Lisbon.
