Hili Razinsky started with Mathematics and the Humanities, then went on to Philosophy (PhD 2009), both at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She has since published on ambivalence and its bearings on basic rationality, belief, emotion, consciousness, action, value, and language. Her book, Ambivalence: A philosophical exploration, Rowman & Littlefield Int., is forthcoming in December 2016. Her new project ‘Subjects and their communications’ aims at elucidating an ontological relation between the individual person and interactions and relationships. She is concerned there with linguistic understanding, ethical requirements, and a variety of interpersonal and collective possibilities, including modes of reification, care, and learning. Razinsky is a researcher at LanCog/ Center of Philosophy, University of Lisbon (sponsored by FCT).
