Induction, Laws of  Nature and Necessity
What is the best explanation of our observed  regularities, such as all observed ravens are black? In this paper, two potential competing explanations on laws of nature are discussed: timeless necessity and a new brand of necessity – Beebee’s temporal necessity. It will be defended
that timeless necessity constitutes a better explanation of our observed regularities than does temporal necessity and, thus, inductive scepticism will
be overcome.
