OFA10 Call for Abstract
This call for abstracts is directed at all graduate students and researchers who have obtained their PhDs in philosophy within the last 2 years. All submitted abstracts must be in English or Portuguese, in the analytic tradition (broadly construed), with no further restrictions as regards topics or areas.
Contributed Papers
Authors should send an abstract of 1500 words (where the theses defended and the arguments backing them up should be clearly stated). Abstracts must be submitted to < ofa10 AT fl.ul.pt >.
Abstracts should be arranged for blind anonymous review. Abstracts containing identifying references (author’s name, citations, publications, acknowledgements or meta-data) will be disregarded. Information about authors should be indicated on a separate title page including title of the paper, author’s full name, e-mail address and affiliation. The selection will be carried out by the members of our scientific committee and authors will be informed by email of the final decisions (see deadlines bellow).
Note: Authors may also express their interest to participate as commentators.
Commentators
Those interested in participating as commentators should send their data (name, e-mail address, affiliation and a short CV) to < ofa10 AT fl.ul.pt >. A description of the main areas of philosophy in which they are interested will also be required.
Deadlines
Submitted abstracts will be accepted until 31 January 2014. The result of the selection process will be communicated to the authors by mid March 2014. Speakers must send the final version of their papers before 30 April 2014.
