Bruno Antunes

Born in Lisbon. Studied Philosophy (FCSH) and Theatre (IFICT). Published a PhD Thesis in Germany on Antonin Artaud. Participated for more than a decade in the seminary “Literatur- und Wissensgeschichte kleiner Formen“ directed by Prof. Dr. Joseph Vogl, who was also the scientific supervisor of his doctoral research, hosted by the Institute for Cultural Sciences of the Humboldt University of Berlin. Presently researching on the cultural exchanges between Buddhism, Philosophy and Science, contributed with presentations in the two first editions of the Mind and Life Europe – Summer Research Institute, in 2014 and 2015, in Germany, and the first edition in Japan, in 2018. Visiting Professor in the University of Coimbra – Faculty of Psichology and Educational Sciences – in 2015; and in the University of Lisbon – Department of Philosophy in 2018 (both on international Mobility for Teaching assignments of the Humboldt University of Berlin). Moderates the interdisciplinary study group “Enlaces” on the “Entanglements between Buddhism, Philosophy and Science” within the framework of the Seminário Permanente Vita Contemplativa, directed by Prof. Dr. Paulo Borges (FLUL).
