Professor of Ethics and Political Philosophy at Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (Brazil).

Research mainly focused in Kantian Philosophy, but has worked also with authors such as Rousseau, Hegel, Rawls and with themes related to philosophy of history, democracy, philosophy of right and theories of justice. Editor of Studia Kantiana (Review of Kantian Brazilian Society) and Researcher of CNPq (Brazilian Government).
