Marco Ruffino is Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Campinas (UNICAMP, Brazil). He has a B.A. in Physics (UNICAMP, 1985), an M.A. in Philosophy (UNICAMP, 1990) and a Ph.D. in Philosophy (UCLA, 1996). He held former positions at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena (Germany) and at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ, Brazil). His fields of research are philosophy of language, philosophy of logic, philosophy of mathematics, and history of analytic philosophy, Frege.
