I received my PhD in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon (2020) with a thesis about the moral status of animals and the problem of replaceability, supervised by Pedro Galvão and funded by an FCT studentship (SFRH/BD/107907/2015). During my PhD I was fortunate to spend a semester as Visiting PhD Student at the University of St Andrews under the supervision of Theron Pummer. Before that I completed Mestrado em Ensino de Filosofia (MAT Philosophy) in 2013 and Licenciatura (BA) in Philosophy in 2006 (both also at the University of Lisbon). I am a Full Member of the LanCog Research Group at the Centre of Philosophy, University of Lisbon. I work in Philosophy with emphasis on ethics. I am also interested in theory of value, metaphysics and philosophy of language. In the last couple of years I have been teaching philosophy at Secondary Education.
