Rui Filipe (email: [email protected]) is a student member at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon. He finished his first degree in Philosophy in this institution (by the Letters College of the University of Lisbon – Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa) in 2014 with a thesis concerning the Idealist thought of Fichte. His Master’s degree, in this institution, was awarded in 2017 with a final dissertation that sought to understand the philosophical foundations of the Anarchist critique of the State made by Bakunin. Currently he focuses his investigations mainly, but not exclusively, on Political Philosophy. His main interests are the relations between Alienation, Authority, Law and the State.

He is also a member of the Nucleus of Political Studies of the University of Lisbon.
