Soraya Nour Sckell

Soraya Nour Sckell graduated in Law from the University of São Paulo (USP, 1992) and completed a PhD degree in International Law at the same university in 1999, with research at the University of Munich (1997-1999) . She completed a Magistra Artium (bachelor and master) in Philosophy, Sociology and Political Science at Frankfurt University (2001) and a French-German PhD degree in Philosophy (2012, Paris Ouest Nanterre University and Frankfurt University). She has received several fellowships from French and German foundations, including DAAD, Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Conseil Régional Ile-de-France, and made Post-Doc research at the Universities of Frankfurt am Main, Berlin (HU), Nanterre and Saint Louis. She is the vice-president of the Association Humboldt France and received the German-French Friendship Prize by the German Ambassador in Paris (2009). She has taught Roman Law, Philosophy of Law and International Law at the USP, Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy of the University of Munich and at the Collège International de Philosophie de Paris, Constitutional Law at the Law Faculty of Metz in France and History of Law at the University of Lille. Since 2013 she is a Investigator FCT at the Centre of Philosophy of the University of Lisbon
