Ubirajara Rancan de Azevedo Marques obtained the PhD in Philosophy at the University of São Paulo [USP]. He is Associate Professor at the São Paulo State University [UNESP]. Idealizer of the Kantian colloquia of Marília, he founded the electronic journal Estudos Kantianos. Former president of the Brazilian Kant Society [2010-2014], he was editor of Kant e a Música [São Paulo: Barcarolla, 2010] and Kant e a Biologia [São Paulo: Barcarolla, 2012], and co-editor of Kant e o Kantismo: Heranças Interpretativas [São Paulo: Brasiliense, 2010] and Kants Lectures / Kants Vorlesungen [Berlin: De Gruyter, 2015].
