Fausto Fraisopi

Fausto Fraisopi studied in Rome and Paris. He obtained his PhD in Macerata and Paris with a dissertation on Kant’s Theory of Schematisms, published in 2009 as L’ouverture de la vision. Kant et la “phénoménologie implicite” des schématismes. From 2010 to 2012 he was Humboldt Fellow at the University of Freiburg, Husserl-Archiv, with a research project about the concept of horizon and ontology in Phenomenology. Habilitated as Professor at Freiburg University, he focuses his researches on epistemology (history of science and complexity theory) and theoretical philosophy. Since many years he developed a systematic approach to a new form of Mathesis universalis between epistemology, (meta)-ontology and (meta)-metaphysics. The issues of this research were published in Philosophie und Frage (2016)
