PhD, University of Lisbon, 1990, with a dissertation on the History of Philosophy of Language. Associate Professor at the Faculty of Humanities of the University of Lisbon. Member of the CFUL since its foundation. Publishes and lectures on the following areas: Philosophy of Language, Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art, Philosophy of History, Hermeneutics, History of Philosophy, Translation Studies.
