Pedro Santos has an academic background in both linguistics and philosophy and was awarded a PhD in Philosophy from the University of Lisbon in 2004. He is currently Assistant Professor at the University of the Algarve and a full member of LanCog. His research interests are mainly in the philosophy of language, formal semantics and pragmatics, with a focus on conditionals, the semantics/pragmatics divide and contextualism/relativism issues.
